GT - Master diabolos definitely because it has a really good launcher (Left and right spinning), can spin left and right plus has the same gimmick as final survive in l drago destroy. I would also recommend spriggan requiem even though it's not from this generation but it's still really good.
Master Diabolos comes with the best launcher imo, Imperial Dragon comes with a competitive electric driver, and Union Achilles comes with the most competitively viable driver imo again.
There are some products from previous series that I feel are worth your money. It’s pretty hard on the wallet though so only buy it if you lack a stadium and/or launchers. If you don’t have a stadium and/or launchers yet, the newly released Limit Break DX Set is good purchase. Any Sparking bey wouldn’t be a bad buy imo so just search up a list of them and choose whichever you think looks the coolest. I always throw Mirage Fafnir and Glide Ragnaruk onto that list too since their parts are competitive, but that’s just me. The 3 beys people always go toward when recommending purchases are, Brave Valkyrie, Rage Longinus, and World Spriggan. Knock yourself out I guess, just prepare for the worst. The burst system wasn’t designed to crash into metal and it is never a good idea to use anything for a purpose it wasn’t made for. However, I don’t suggest you pit them against each other very often. I believe Sparking beys weigh the same or maybe even more than some MFB beys so I think they do stand a chance. Sparking definitely has the beys that are best made, but if you’re looking for a healthy meta with more bursts, I think GT is the way to go. Solid defense-stamina hybrid layers such as Lord and Master were also good choices despite the abundance of attack types. Double chassis still haven’t been introduced at this time so attack layers such as Judgement, Zwei, and Imperial thrived. If bursts are what you’re really after, I like the GT era. It is still entirely possible, however it isn’t as common as before. Yes, it is true that burst rates have significantly decreased with the new series with the introduction of double chassis and the general increase of weight in the layer. Thank you so much for reading! Any other information you think would be relevant would also be appreciated. If I was to get some Superking beys, would it still be worthwhile to grab older generations as well for fun and potential parts, despite the incompatibility on some? I'm wanting to stick with TT beys and will probably spend about $100 to $300 total to start budget-wise.
If I was starting completely from scratch, what Beys would you recommend to go with? Wanting at least four-ish Beys for me and my friends as presents, but potentially a handful more for good parts and variety. If the Superking beys don't really burst, would there be another generation that'd be more interesting? Not so they burst constantly, but that it becomes a solid surprise factor in battles.Īre the Superking beys a solid potential match-up against MFB beys, or is that uneven or dangerous?
How often do Beys actually burst? I have seen a few comments that the more recent Beys (Superking etc.) don't really burst anymore, is that true? I've mainly played with MFB series beys, but Burst seems pretty cool.
